Proudly based in a stunning little South West corner of WA, Shaka Events is the brainchild of two dance music enthusiasts with over four decades of combined experience in the club/party/festival industry.
From different corners of the globe, 2015 saw West Australian Lee Cummings (aka Leeroy Bongo Brown) and Englishman Rob Southgate (aka Private Pickle) meet in the buzzing South West music scene and fast become friends through their shared passion for showcasing the spirit of dance music.
These two open-minded, well-travelled, fun-loving rascals soon found themselves collaborating together on multiple unique concepts and projects which continue to bring to life the vibrant soul of dance music and entice their flamboyant crowds to indulge their inner rhythm.
It became clear over time that these performers should combine their creative talents to provide a platform for professionally run, vibrant, dance music events in their much loved home zone – the breathtaking Margaret River Wine Region.
And so it is, in 2021, Shaka Events is born!
